I am restored in mind, body and soul when in or near the ocean and water in general, spending time with loved ones, enjoying favorite foods and trying new ones, moving my body, being with my fur children, and listening to music.
My formal education includes a B.S. in Social Work from UNC-Greensboro and a Masters in Social Work-Direct Practice from Texas State University.
I have been practicing since 2011. As a social worker and therapist, I have worked in sliding scale community mental health clinics, medical social work settings, a group private practice specializing in eating disorders, and in-patient substance use and addiction recovery centers.
